The 2025 Alachua County Middle School Tackle Football League at The Boys and Girls of Northeast Florida has opened registration with a deadline for registration of Wednesday, August 13th. To guarantee gear will be available for your first practice you must be registered by Wednesday, August 6th.
This league consists of current 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at the following Middle Schools:
Fort Clarke
Hawthorne
Howard Bishop
Kanapaha
Lincoln
Oakview
Westwood
If your school is not listed you may play for the school of your choice. If your school is listed, you MUST play for your school.
The league is divided into two divisions Varsity (8th and 7th grade) and Junior Varsity (7th and 6th grade).
First games will be 9/16 and 9/18. Families can plan for Varsity games on Tuesday evenings and JV games on Thursday evenings.
Helmet, shoulder pads, chin straps, and uniform rentals are provided to Fort Clarke, Howard Bishop, Kanapaha, Lincoln, and Westwood.
The Middle School Tackle Football League is funded through donations and registration fees. Alachua County Public Schools and the individual Alachua County Middle Schools do not support the Boys and Girls Club League financially.
The registration fees will go directly to the following expenses:
Uniform and Equipment Rental
Equipment Reconditioning
Certified Athletic Trainer
Referee’s Fees
Field Maintenance
League Operational Fees
Each athlete must submit a birth certificate, current physical clearing that individual for athletic participation, and a waiver signed by the athlete’s guardian. Birth certificates and physicals can be sent to AlachuaFootball@gmail.com.
Hawthorne and Oakview families must register, but please use the code provided by your administrator during registration.
